Realistic AutoRev
Model: ARM-5-ADC
$99.95 USD
The Realistic AUTOREV provides automated back and forth running of a rail vehicle on short or long track. The module is AC powered allowing 0 to100% throttle operation. Typical uses include trolleys, streetcars, narrow gauge lines and mine trams. The module is also suited for animated holiday displays in store windows, on the mantle or under the tree. Running time can be adjusted from 0s to 4.5min. Installation requires isolated sections of track, with rail gaps at each end. Simple screw terminals make all electrical connections to the module. The module is designed to work with Z to G scaled locomotives which draw less than 5 Amps. |
Acceleration
and Deceleration
A NEW feature of the Realistic AUTOREV is
prototypical acceleration and deceleration or braking.
Independent control of acceleration and deceleration
allows any combination of prototypical
operation.
Memory
Stop and Start
The Memory Stop and Start feature is also NEW.
This feature ensures that the rail vehicle remembers
what direction it is going when powered OFF. Once power
is turned back ON the rail vehicle accelerates and
continues in the same direction.
Firmware(Software)
Upgradable
The module is also software upgradeable so
that as new features become available you can send in
your module for a firmware upgrade.
Upgrades are available FREE** for one year from
the date of purchase.
** S&H not included.
Polarity
Protection on AC and DC Inputs
Polarity protection is provided on all AC and DC
connections to the module. This feature eases
installation as you can never hook up the module
backwards. When DC power is applied in the correct
polarity the track indicator will light
up.
Track
Power and Status Indicator
The track power indicator ensures the module is
connected correctly. The brightness of the indicator is
proportional to the input track voltage. The higher the
track voltage the brighter the track indicator
glows.
The reversing indicator lights up when the rail
vehicle is traveling in the reverse
direction.
